The story of a family…

1978: The brothers, Dimitris and Michalis Drouganis, founders of the Company, open a small ice cream industry in Athens and deliver the products with the traditional tricycle of that time.   

1986: Bonito is the first greek company to produce the famous “ice cream bites”

1993: In the framework of continuous development, the Company is transformed from a General Partnership into a Commercial and Industrial S.A. under the name of Bonito S.A.

1999: The facilities are transferred in new bigger facilities in Aspropyrgos.

2004: A new era starts as the Company proceeds on big investments that concern human resources and technological equipment.

Today: Bonito, a modern ice cream and confectionary industry with national profile, has conquered one of the leading positions in the market of “Pagotinia”.  

Looking at the future: Bonito shall continue to produce products with special care and attention to the principles of excellent products, consistency towards partners and respect for consumers.
